The OnePlus 6T is official, and soon after the global event, the company launched it in India as well. Now, despite being an incremental T upgrade, the OnePlus 6T does brings some nifty upgrades to the table. You get a bigger display with waterdrop style notch, an in-display fingerprint scanner, bigger battery with fast charging feature, to name a few. The smartphone will compete with the likes of Google Pixel 2 XL, which is a year old device, but a flagship phone with one of the best cameras, and in the same price range as the OnePlus 6T. OnePlus 6T price starts at Rs 37,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and Rs 41,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Lastly, you have the top end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced at 45,999. Yes, it is a marginal increase over the OnePlus 6 pricing, but you have to take into an account of the new hardware components that the company has put, and also the rising dollar pricing. The Google Pixel 2 XL is available via Flipkart for Rs 45,499 for the 64GB variant, whereas the 128GB variant has been out of stock for quite a while. The LG G7+ ThinQ, on the other hand, is also available via Flipkart and is priced at Rs 40,000. There is also LG G7 ThinQ for Rs 33,990, with the only difference being that it comes with 64GB storage, while the Plus model has 128GB storage.

Design and display
In terms of design, both LG G7+ ThinQ and OnePlus 6T come with front and back glass, whereas the Pixel 2 XL comes with a metal back, and glass on the upper half. The LG smartphone also includes wireless charging, whereas the other two smartphones don t.
Talking about the display, OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ panel with 1080x2340pixels resolution, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The LG phone smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch QHD+ panel with 1440x3120pixels resolution, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Lastly, the Pixel 2 XL comes with 6-inch P-OLED panel featuring 18:9 aspect ratio, and resolution of 1440x2880pixels.
Chipset, RAM and storage
The OnePlus 6T and LG G7+ ThinQ are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, whereas the Pixel 2 XL is powered by last year s Snapdragon 835 SoC. While the Pixel 2 XL comes with 4GB or RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options, the LG G7+ ThinQ comes with 4GB / 6GB RAM, and 64GB / 128GB storage options. The OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, comes with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage options.
In the photography department, the OnePlus 6T comes with dual cameras at the back, which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor (telephoto lens), both featuring f/1.7 aperture. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.
In case of LG, you get dual cameras at the back, both of 16-megapixel resolution, with one being standard lens and other being super wide angle lens. Up front is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Lastly, Google Pixel 2 XL comes with single rear camera of 12-megapixel resolution, and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. All three manufacturers have put their respective AI chops in the camera software to let you capture better photos.
Software, connectivity and battery
Talking about software, the OnePlus 6T runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box with OxygenOS UI on top, whereas the Pixel 2 XL runs stock Android 9 Pie. The LG G7+ ThinQ, on the other hand, runs Android 8.0 Oreo, and it will be updated to Android Pie in the coming months. Connectivity wise, both LG and OnePlus offer dual-SIM card slots, whereas Google just offers single SIM connectivity.
Otherwise, all three smartphones include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, 4G LTE with VoLTE HD voice calling, and GPS connectivity options. To keep thing ticking, OnePlus 6T comes with a 3,700mAh battery, the Pixel 2 XL comes with 3,520mAh battery, whereas the LG G7+ ThinQ comes with 3,000mAh battery. All three phones also support fast charging technology.
Talking about security, Pixel 2 XL comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back, the LG G7+ ThinQ comes with a fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, comes with face unlock, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
