Now, the company’s CEO, Pete Lau took it to Weibo, and revealed that the next OnePlus device will indeed come pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie and some interesting new features, also revealing new changes through the posted screenshots. The revealed screenshots show a good glimpse of how the User Interface on the OnePlus 6T will be completely revamped: changing the notification center style, a new arranged settings menu, inspired by the Android 9.0 Pie, completely new navigation gestures system, revamped Recent Apps Center and much more. With the introduction of Oxygen OS 9.0 on the OnePlus 6T, the device will have multiple new features to change headphones output settings and switch equalizer. With the announcement of the OnePlus 6T smartphone launch getting closer, OnePlus has published an interview with one of the developers of OxygenOS, speaking about the important changes and improvements going to be available in this update.

We are working on a lot of exciting things for the OnePlus 6T. We have a completely new user interface that you will need to try out in person to understand the changes. Our goal was to express the OnePlus style in our interface, making it the clearest and intuitive version of OxygenOS. We are also working hard to improve the camera, so you can count on higher quality images,” Lau said.
The new OnePlus 6T will be introduced on October 30. It is expected to get a 6.4-inch OLED display with a waterdrop-shaped notch cut-out and an in-display fingerprint scanner, an eight-core Snapdragon 845 processor, 6/8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, an improved dual camera, 25-megapixel front camera, and a 3,700mAh battery.
