We are less than 10 days away from the official unveiling of the OnePlus 6T. The event is set to take place in New York on October 29 and ahead of the event, we have come across plenty of leaks and rumors surrounding the smartphone. Now, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has teased the camera performance of the flagship smartphone. Also Read - How to check battery health on OnePlus smartphones

Lau posted a night shot of downtown Shenzhen on Weibo (via MySmartPrice) with a caption that reads Bring your own filter. The camera sample was uploaded in full 13-megapixel resolution, but sadly there isn t any EXIF info about the same. And without this data, it is difficult to reveal details such as sensor manufacturer or aperture. Still, if you take a closer look at the photo, cloud texture, accurate colors and hues of the sky are clearly visible. The photo does look like of a flagship quality, but we would reserve our judgment until we don t review the smartphone. Rumors have hinted that OnePlus will be adding a night camera mode feature on the smartphone for better low-light photography, just like on the Huawei P20 Pro. Now, whether this photo was taken using a tripod or using the camera mode isn t clear as of now. But we will have to wait until the launch event to learn more about the camera tricks that OnePlus has added in the smartphone.

OnePlus 6T will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB / 8GB RAM options, and 128GB / 265GB storage options. OnePlus has also mentioned that the smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but sadly it will be an optical one, not ultrasonic.

Finally, OnePlus is also taking a courageous move like Apple, and removing the 3.5mm audio port from the OnePlus 6T. The company will also be selling USB Type-C based earphones priced at Rs 1,499. Lastly, the smartphone will ship with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
