OnePlus 6T, the next flagship smartphone from Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus, will be officially unveiled in New York on October 29. The smartphone has already leaked in the form of renders, specifications and a retailer even went ahead to list the device for sale.
The company itself has not been shy to share some of the key features of the smartphone. OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. When it gets launched next week, it will become the first major smartphone to feature the new form of biometric recognition. It will also come with a waterdrop notch similar to the one seen on Vivo V11 Pro and Oppo F9 smartphones.
However, OnePlus is primarily known for performance flagship devices and it seems that OnePlus 6T won’t be much different from its predecessor in that segment. A leaked Geekbench listing of OnePlus 6T reveals what to expect from the smartphone. The OnePlus 6T with model number A6013 managed a respectable score of 2387 on single-core test and 8925 on multi-core test.
The listing reveals that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and the overall score seems identical to that of other smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is important to note that this is not the first time that the smartphone has appeared on benchmark listing.
Earlier, the OnePlus 6T was spotted on Geekbench, where it scored slightly better on single-core test than what we have seen with the latest listing. During the last outing, OnePlus 6T scored 2510 on single-core and 8639 on multi-core test. These benchmark scores could be based on testing done on pre-production models and the final benchmark scores might be better.

OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage. It will be powered by Snapdragon 845 and feature dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel cameras. One area where OnePlus 6T is expected to be an improvement is battery. The leaks suggest it will pack a larger 3,700mAh battery.
