China-based smartphone maker OnePlus has just revealed the detailed for the launch event of its OnePlus 6T in India. The company shared the details for the launch event on a dedicated launch event page on its official website. The event is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM at KDJW Stadium inside Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex which means that it will kick off at the same time as the 11 PM local time for the New York launch event. It is likely that the company may live stream the New York launch event at the Delhi launch event, an approach that they followed during the OnePlus 5T launch late last year.

The company is hyping up the launch event with the slogan “Unlock The Speed”. The launch website shared some details about the event adding that people attending the event will be able to experience the upcoming OnePlus 6T. In addition to the hands-on time with the device, people attending the event will be able to meet the OnePlus community, get “exclusive OnePlus merchandise” and even get a pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones at the event.

OnePlus also added that it will be live-streaming the launch event on its official YouTube channel for the people who are unable to attend the event. This information comes days after the company launched ‘The Lab’ to give its community, a chance to review the upcoming device before the launch.

OnePlus also started pre-booking for the unreleased OnePlus 6T on Amazon India earlier in the day while offering a free Type-C Bullets and Rs 500 as Amazon Pay credit. As previously reported, it is likely that the company will launch the device as an Amazon India exclusive. The device will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner while dropping the 3.5-mm audio jack. The device is also likely to come with a water-droplet notch on the front.
