OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition: Specifications and features
For the most part, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is similar to the regular OnePlus 6T. Nevertheless, there are a few key differences. First off, the McLaren Edition comes with a whopping 10GB of RAM, which makes it the first OnePlus smartphone to have that much amount of memory. As one would expect, there’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC at the helm, along with 256GB of internal storage. In addition, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features an even better ‘Warp Charge’ technology, which supports 30W fast-charging, but is most likely a rebranded version of ‘Dash Charge’.
Visually also, the McLaren Edition differs from regular OnePlus 6T editions, as evinced by its Papaya Orange color scheme. There’s even a carbon fiber patter under the smartphone’s glass rear panel, which gives it a distinct appearance. Of course, there’s McLaren’s logo at the bottom half of the back panel as well.
As far as the accessories are concerned, both the charger and USB-to-3.5mm audio dongle come with dual-tone (Black and Papaya Orange) color scheme.
Other than that, most internals of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition remain unchanged. You still get a 6.41-inch Full-HD+ Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a ‘waterdrop’ notch. The in-screen fingerprint sensor is there as well.
For imaging, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features a dual-lens rear camera system with one 16-megapixel unit and one 20-megapixel unit. There’s also a 16-megapixel front-facing lens for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is backed by a 3,700mAh battery.
