Earlier this week, OnePlus launched a special edition of its 6T smartphone in India. Called OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, the smartphone has gone on sale in India starting today, and it will be available via Amazon India. The variant has been developed in collaboration with British supercar-maker McLaren, and it is priced at Rs 50,999. Besides the design, there are a few key differences between the McLaren Edition and the standard OnePlus 6T. While the special edition retains its glass body, it comes with carbon fibre texture underneath. Also, the bottom edges also feature the Papaya Orange strip giving the device a racy look. The OnePlus logo is placed just the below the camera module, while the McLaren logo is towards the bottom. Another difference is in the way how the battery charges on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. OnePlus is calling it Warp Charge 30 tech, which charges the 3,700mAh battery to 50 percent in just 20 minutes. Lastly, the smartphone comes with 10GB of RAM, as opposed to 6GB / 8GB variant on the regular model.

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition specifications
Talking about specifications, the smartphone flaunts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC. For photography, the device is equipped with dual-cameras at the back which includes a combination of 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors.
For selfies, there will be a 16-megapixel snapper at the front. Security is taken care by an in-display fingerprint sensor, and face unlock. On the software front, the dual-SIM smartphone runs Android Pie out-of-the-box.
