OnePlus is known for launching limited edition smartphones in partnership with renowned brands. While in the past it has partnered with Star Wars franchise and Marvel’s Avengers, this year the Chinese smartphone has collaborated with supercar maker McLaren for a limited edition OnePlus 6T.

Called OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, the smartphone integrates the design DNA of McLaren’s Formula 1 cars with the familiar design of a OnePlus smartphone. The smartphone was unveiled globally on December 11, and was launched in India yesterday. The limited edition smartphone will be available in India starting today at OnePlus’ Experience Store in New Delhi, and will be available online from OnePlus Store and Amazon India starting December 15. If you are a McLaren fan and planning to grab the new device then here is how it is different from a standard OnePlus 6T.

There is also elements of carbon fiber finish to resemble the build of a formula one chassis.

OnePlus is calling this finish as Speed Orange, which somewhat justifies what the company is trying to do with this smartphone. The OnePlus 6T standard variant comes in Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Thunder Purple finishes. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is aimed at those who like collecting the most exquisite things and call themselves McLaren fans.
