OnePlus recently revealed that the OnePlus 5T became the company s fastest selling smartphone in India on day one. The company started the trend of launching a ‘T’ version of its flagship smartphone last year, but looks like this may not continue for long. OnePlus held a Reddit-style AMA on its forums to connect with fans following the launch of the OnePlus 5T. One forum user asked if the fans can expect a T model every year after the launch of OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 5T. While there is still time for OnePlus to rethink about that decision, the company s main focus, as of now, will definitely be the launch of its next flagship, the OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 6, as rumors suggest is expected to launch sometime in the first half of 2018. In terms of design, the smartphone is said to come with a bezel-less 6-inch display, with the fingerprint scanner placed at the rear of the phone. OnePlus 6 is also said to be among the first devices to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC. Talking about the price of the smartphone, OnePlus 6 is expected to be priced between Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000.
