Another day, another OnePlus 6T leak. Today’s leak features new renders of the upcoming smartphone, that remain in line with what we’ve seen thus far. The new leak comes courtesy of OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, which shows us what we’ve already been expecting on the device: the waterdrop notch and dual-camera setup on the rear, along with the lack of a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The latest leak is in line with numerous leaks that have revealed the same details, so none of this should come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the rumors surrounding the OnePlus 6T. Given all the rumors and leaks, we’ve been able to paint a fairly accurate picture of what to expect from the upcoming device. Multiple rumors, teasers and leaks have suggested the presence of the waterdrop notch, dual-camera set-up and in-display fingerprint sensor, as is once more suggested here.
Apart from these, the OnePlus 6 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It’s also likely that the phone will launch with Android 9 Pie out of the box, given that the company has already rolled out the software for the OnePlus 6. The metal frame and glass back remain in place, with the new phone sporting a core design that is largely similar to its predecessor.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 6T could be priced at around the same as that of the OnePlus 6, for equivalent variants. In line with the company’s typical way of doing things, the OnePlus 6 could be discontinued on launch of the new phone. OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 6T on October 16 globally, with a launch event for India likely to take place on October 17. In the build up to the launch, OnePlus is offering a limited-time discount on the device from October 10 to 15, bringing the starting price of the phone down to Rs 29,999.
