Almost everyone who knows about OnePlus, is aware that the company launches two devices every year. Not that everyone is happy with the cycle, but yes that is how its release cycle works. OnePlus launched the first improved T version with its OnePlus 3 smartphone, and continued the trend last year as well with the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T.
And now from what we hear, the company seems to be going down the same path again with the OnePlus 6 smartphone. The company held a AMA or an Ask Me Anything session, and one of the users came forward with the question of whether the company will be sticking to its two device launch a year or will be just be the OnePlus 6 this year.
And to this, the developers replied, “We don’t have any plans to change our strategy at this moment.” We can assume clearly from this that the company has no wishes to back out of its two device a year release cycle. And this means we are probably going to get a OnePlus 6T this year.
OnePlus with the beginning of the two device a year policy in 2016 has launched the two devices at a gap of six months. Last year the OnePlus 5 was launched in June and the 5T was introduced in November. The OnePlus 6 came a month earlier this year and hence we can expect the OnePlus 6T to arrive sometime in October or November, which means Q4 of 2018.
OnePlus 6 was launched globally on May 16 and in India on May 17 and went for sale on May 21 exclusively for Amazon Prime members. Other customers will be able to grab the smartphone of May 22 from retail stores as well as Amazon India and OnePlus’ own website.

For photography, the phone has dual-rear cameras that consist of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor.
