Days before the official launch of the upcoming flagship smartphone from China-based smartphone maker OnePlus, details about the OnePlus 6T have leaked out on the internet with high resolution renders. According to the reports, the device was initially spotted on a German retailer website Otto along with all the major specifications and renders of the device. It looks like the website took down the listing after it realized the mistake but it was too late by then. Taking a closer look at the leaked information, there is not much different from the initial round of rumors about this generation being all about minor design changes and small hardware upgrades.
The leak also gave us a hint about the pricing of the device. Similar to the initial round of rumors, the price has increased for the 6T but not by a drastic measure. The leaked listing for the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage was initially spotted by GSMArena. The pricing of the device on the retailer is €580, €10 up from the €570 for the same variant for the OnePlus 6. It is likely that the company will launch devices with other variants but this leak did not include them.

To recap the specifications according to the listing, the device comes with a 6.4-inch display with AMOLED panel and 1,080×2,340 pixels resolution with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. One major specification change according to the leak is that the OnePlus 6T will come with a microSD card slot. If this is true then it is likely to please OnePlus fans who have been demanding the ability to expand the storage on a OnePlus device. The front moves from the proper notch shape to a smaller water drop-shaped notch as mentioned above.
The dual camera setup on the back seems to be unchanged with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. As revealed by OnePlus, the device comes with an in-display optical fingerprint scanner while running Android 8.1 Oreo. This may be incorrect but as mentioned by the initial report, OnePlus is expected to roll out the Android 9 Pie update quickly as compared to other device makers in the market.
The OnePlus 6T runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 while powered by a 3,700mAh battery from the 3,300mAh battery in the OnePlus 6. Last but not the least, the device will come with USB Type-C port, though the listing reports that it supports USB 3.1 protocol. OnePlus has not revealed any details about the device so it is possible that the leaked listing may not be what we see in the final device.
