More information surfaced around the same time hinting that OnePlus 8 Lite could launch as the OnePlus Z at a later date. OnePlus also confirmed several key features of the OnePlus 8 Series.

The company also shared the official launch date for the OnePlus 8 Series on the same day. Taking a closer look, OnePlus India confirmed that the flagship smartphone will land in the market on April 14.
Just hours later, new color variants for the OnePlus 8 leaked on the internet.
OenPlus also confirmed that it will bring Always-on Display feature. However, we are not sure if the feature will come with the OnePlus 8 series.

As we enter March, reports hinted that the smartphone series will launch in the middle of April.

Just days after the prototype leak, OnePlus 8 Pro made its first appearance on Geekbench.
Shortly after, initial renders and prototype for the OnePlus 8 Lite leaked online.
Immediately after the first set of rumors hit the internet, most supposed details started cropping up in mid-December.
These rumors followed initial information surrounding the launch of OnePlus 8 Lite. It is also worth noting that the device is likely to not launch with the regular 8 series.
