Premium smartphone maker OnePlus has announced new offers on its current flagship device, the OnePlus 5T. The offers are for a limited time, on purchases on Amazon India from March 8 to March 14 only. Under the offer, users buying the phone using ICICI Bank credit and debit cards are entitled to Rs 1,500 in cash back. The company has clarified that the cash back offer on ICICI Bank cards will also be applicable on oneplusstore.in, the company’s official website for sales, as well as through the OnePlus Experience Store on Brigade Road in Bangalore. Apart from the cash back offer, buyers on Amazon India will also be entitled to a no-cost EMI offer on purchase of any variant of the OnePlus 5T. The no-cost EMI scheme is only for purchases made on 3-month EMIs, and will allow buyers to purchase the phone in installments without paying interest. This will keep the effective cost of the purchase at either Rs 32,999 or Rs 37,999, depending on the variant purchased, divided into three equal installments. The EMI offer isn’t valid on purchases on oneplusstore.in or through the company’s official offline channels.
OnePlus has stuck to Amazon India as its primary sales and distribution partner in India since the company set up operations back in 2014. However, the company also maintains a flagship experience store at Brigade Road in Bangalore, where customers can purchase OnePlus products including smartphones and accessories. The Chinese company also increased its offline presence last year, with the opening of a OnePlus exclusive store in Mumbai and availability of OnePlus devices at select Croma stores all over the country.
The OnePlus 5T is the company’s current flagship device and was launched in November last year. Since then, the company has also launched limited edition variants of the OnePlus 5T, including a Star Wars edition timed with the release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December, and the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition in January. The company’s next flagship, the OnePlus 6, is expected to launch in June this year with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood.
