OnePlus is now offering two smartphone coverage options in the form of B2X Service and B2X Protect for the OnePlus 2. The former service gives users manufacturer s warranty for the OnePlus 2 for upto a year from the date of purchase. This plan covers all defects that are covered under manufacturer s warranty for another more year after the expiry of the original manufacturer s warranty for the device. The cost of the service is Rs. 999 (including tax). It also covers direct support by authorized service centers. The second B2X Protect service covers accidental, physical & liquid damage to your OnePlus 2 device during the first year of the product purchase. The B2X Protect is priced at a consumer-friendly Rs. 1,299 (including tax).
It s worth pointing out that the new service is only available for the latest OnePlus 2 and excludes the OnePlus One. Also, customers are required to purchase the Service Plan within 30 days of purchase of the OnePlus 2 device and have to register at B2X Care within 7 days of purchase by providing relevant purchase details. The insurance covers excludes following; Fails to work because of an accidental fluid spill that enters the internal circuitry, resulting in failure of the Covered Equipment, Act of god perils, fire, lightning and explosion, and Damage during riot, strike & malicious damage.
