OnePlus today conducted the second sale for the Loop VR headsets, and just like before it was all over in seconds. In fact OnePlus has said that its headsets were out of stock in just five seconds across both sales. The company has distributed the Loop VR headset to users ahead of the OnePlus 3 smartphone launch next week. Just like last year, the OnePlus 3 launch will take place in virtual reality. OnePlus says that it sold 30,000 units all over the world, after having received close to a million registrations for the Loop VR headset. “We are naturally elated at the response from the OnePlus community to obtain the Loop VR headsets to view the OnePlus 3 launch,” Vikas Agarwal, General Manager of OnePlus India, said in a statement. The OnePlus 3 launch this year will also be the world’s first global shopping experience in Virtual Reality. Open sales for the OnePlus 3 will begin on Amazon India from June 15 at 12:30AM onwards.
