OnePlus took the world by storm with its Cyanogen-based One last year, and now reports of its successor are emerging. GizmoChina has got some dope on the OnePlus Two, the successor of the superhit 2014 smartphone.
The publication reports that the front of the device is said to look a lot like the Oppo Find 7, with regular capacitive Android 5.0 buttons. Furthermore, the OnePlus Two will come with a “a laser focus fingerprint identification embedded in the home button.” We have little clue on how that will elevate the tech behind the fingerprint scanning, and the publication fails to elaborate as well.
It is set for a third quarter release, and the successor is likely to cost more than the OnePlus One. However, we expect it to still be priced at a fraction of other flagship smartphones.
Meanwhile, OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new drone in April. It is expected to be called DR-1, and will go on sale next month.
