The CM12S will be rolled out via OTA update and is coming to Indian users as well. The company recently even released its own Oxygen OS for Indian users, who can now download it on their OnePlus One devices. Follow instructions here.
The Lollipop-based OS was supposed to come out on March 30, but has missed the deadline. Even the Oxygen OS was released later than its deadline, and OnePlus was forced to give away five OnePlus One’s to its fans as promised if they fail to miss the release date.
OnePlus has been in a battle with YU in India for exclusive rights on Cyanogen. It was reported earlier that Indian users will not get any more Cyanogen updates and will instead get OnePlus’ custom-built OxygenOS. However, the company recently announced that all OnePlus One users in India will get the CM 12S update.
