OnePlus today announced its partnership with Airtel, and as a part of the deal, the OnePlus 2 will be showcased at more than 50 Airtel stores in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. These smartphones though will only be for display, and those interested will still need to source an invite and buy the smartphone off Amazon India. The OnePlus 2 will be showcased at Airtel s stores in the aforementioned cities from tomorrow onwards. Soon it will be showcased at stores in Airtel s other 4G circles as well. Furthermore, OnePlus is also offering Airtel users a chance to win an invite. Those who come to the Airtel store to upgrade or opt for a new 4G SIM will stand a chance to win an OnePlus 2 invite.
As mentioned above, the OnePlus 2 started shipping in India last month. The 64GB variant is currently on sale on Amazon India priced at Rs 24,999, while the 16GB variant will be launched later with a price tag of Rs 22,999.
OnePlus 2 specifications: The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 processor, and 4GB of RAM. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie snapper, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
