At the moment that is the only thing we know about the forthcoming device. Pei s quote also highlights that the smartphone could be at an early stage of development, and the company may not be sure how to market it as yet.
We have been hearing rumors around the OnePlus Two, which claim that the flagship device could feature a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB internal storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,300mAh battery. As mentioned above, the flagship device will be launched sometime later this year, and India will be one of the first markets to get the smartphone as well.
Pei had also told BGR India that the company had something special planned for India. It would be launching a phone specifically for India, which would be launched sometime towards the end of this year.
OnePlus entered the Indian market last month by launching the One, priced at Rs 21,999. The flagship killer features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage. Also included are 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,100mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on the CyanogenMod ROM CM11s with several customized features.
