OnePlus TV is coming
Flagship Killer fame OnePlus will now be entering a new segment with ‘OnePlus TV‘. The company revealed its plan of launching this new product through a dedicated post on its OnePlus forums. Pete Lau, the CEO of the company stated that OnePlus has “been a team of dreamers, united in mission to share the best technology with the world” in an attempt to clarify the rationale behind this new product. He stated that these products will be aimed at improving the lives of customers with the help of technology and OnePlus wanted to take “the first step” towards “building a connected human experience”. Lau added that decision of working on a TV stemmed from the fact that there are a total of four major environments that users spend their time in these days including the home, workplace, commute and the last “being on-the-move”.
Realme 2 Pro full design teased officially
Realme is all set to launch the Pro version of Realme 2 next week on September 27, and just ahead of the launch, the company has put up a teaser video showcasing the full design and colors of the smartphone. Apart from similar Realme 2 design and dual-rear camera setup, the smartphone will feature a different ‘waterdrop’ style notch display like Oppo F9 Pro, and there will be a matte finished design color black variant this time around.
Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus and Galaxy J4 Plus India launch on September 24?
Samsung might be preparing to launch the Galaxy J6 Plus and the Galaxy J4 Plus smartphones in India on September 24, according to a report. The two new Galaxy J series devices will feature Infinity Display design similar to one seen on Galaxy J8 early this year. The report also mentions that Galaxy J4 Plus and Galaxy J6 Plus will sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as opposed to rear-mounted fingerprint sensors seen on other models. RazerPhone 2 launch invites out
Razer today sent out media invites for the event on October 10 where it is expected to launch the Razer Phone 2. The launch event will be held in Hollywood and the invite shows Razer logo, followed by the terms “Flagship” and “Gaming”. The invite has a boxy rectangular outline of the company’s first phone stamped on it. It almost seems likely that Razer will stick with the same design language like its predecessor and might use the same outline as well. A previous leak had shown the October 10 launch date on the lockscreen of the smartphone with similar render.
WhatsApp might get ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature soon
WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature for its Android app. The feature was recently spotted in version 2.18.282 of WhatsApp’s beta app by WABetaInfo. Since the feature is only available in the beta version, regular WhatsApp users won’t be able to see it.
Also there’s no set timeframe as to when the feature will be rolled out to regular users, although it’s worth mentioning that the feature has already been available on WhatsApp’s iOS app for quite some time now.
