Last night, OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu took to Weibo to post a teaser image, which shows a map with four brightly colored lines forming an X at the center. From what we have come across so far, the OnePlus X is being designed from scratch, and will be budget handset. The company has also sent out invites for an event on October 12, which will be attended by CEO Pete Lau and Vikas Agrawal.
If we were to hazard a guess, OnePlus could unveil its next smartphone at the event. Agrawal hinted as much saying, We re introducing a new device by the end of this year. Diwali would be the ideal time, but next quarter for sure. It would be a global launch, but India will be the biggest focus. It is expected to be aggressively priced around $249 or Rs 16,320 approximately.
OnePlus X specifications and features: It is said to feature a 5-inch display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, dual-camera setup at the back, and a fingerprint sensor as well.
