OnePlus is gearing up for its October 29 event in India where it is set to unveil the much-rumored OnePlus X. A leaked poster shared by MyDrivers reveals that the OnePlus X will be priced at 1,699 Yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 17,380. This is a tad higher than earlier leaks, which pegged the launch price to be somewhere around $220 (approximately Rs 14,500).
Nonetheless, if there s any truth to this, the OnePlus X will be the most affordable smartphone in the company s portfolio. To put it into perspective, the OnePlus One is now available for Rs 21,900 for the 64GB variant. The OnePlus 2, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 24,999 for the 64GB variant, and the 16GB variant launching later will be priced at Rs 22,999.
OnePlus X specifications and features: From what we have come across so far, the forthcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel/8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC, among others.
