Back in April, Oppo had launched the affordable A3 smartphone. Now it seems, the company is close to launching a variant of the smartphone, dubbed A3s. Alleged specifications and features of the device have surfaced online ahead of an official launch.

According to a report on MySmartPrice, the upcoming Oppo A3s features a 6.2-inch HD+ display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset under the hood paired with Adreno 506 GPU. There is currently no mention of RAM or storage. But the list does confirm the presence of a microSD card slot.
In the photography department, the device is equipped with a dual-camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel f/2.2 primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 secondary sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The Oppo A3s is also said to feature a 4,230mAh battery that is relatively bigger than the one found on the Oppo A3. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. On the software front, the device is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under ColorOS 5.1.

The smartphone was launched with a 6.2-inch FHD+ LCD display with 19:9 ratio, MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone also came with a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,400mAh battery, and it ran Android Oreo out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.0 running atop.
