Oppo is all set to launch a new A-series smartphone in China on November 13. Called A7, leaked renders of the smartphone have surfaced online offering a closer look at the design from the front and back. The render also reveals that the Oppo smartphone will pack a massive 4,230mAh battery.
The leak (spotted by AndroidPure) reveals that the smartphone will be offered in two color variants – Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue. As we can see in the renders, the smartphone looks similar to the Realme 2, and will likely be the rebranded version for China market. And while the Realme 2 comes with diamond back design, the A7 comes a textured finish. Lastly, the renders also reveal the full screen display with a waterdrop style notch, a dual camera setup at the back, and a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Talking about specifications, the Oppo A7 being a rebranded version of Realme 2, is expected to share the same specifications. It could feature a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a taller 19:9 aspect ratio, and a notch on top. This notch will house the proximity and ambient light sensors, along with the front camera.

Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 450 SoC with 3GB or 4G RAM option, along with 32GB and 64GB storage option. An expandable storage option using microSD card slot is also expected. Talking about rear cameras, the primary sensor could be a 13-megapixel one, whereas the secondary would be a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Up front, could be a 16-megapixel selfie snapper, an upgrade compared to the 8-megapixel one on the Realme 2.
On the software front, Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS UI is expected. In terms of pricing, the smartphone could be priced at RMB 1,599, which is approximately Rs 16,900 in India.
