Oppo has launched two new smartphones in Taiwan, and among their USPs is the 18:9 aspect ratio display. The Oppo A75 and the A75s share the same set of specifications and features, and only differ on the storage they offer. As far as prices are concerned, the Oppo A75 will be available for NTD 10,990, which is approximately Rs 23,500. The Oppo A75s, on the other hand, will be available for NTD 11,990, which is approximately Rs 25,600. Both these devices were spotted on Oppo s Taiwan website by Androidcrunch, and buyers will be able to choose from gold and black color options. Oppo A75, A75s specifications, features
Both smartphones flaunt a 6-inch full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio P23 64-bit octa-core SoC paired with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, and 4GB of RAM.
The Oppo A75 offers 32GB internal storage, while the Oppo A75s offers 64GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with the use of a microSD card. Making sure everything ticks is a 3,200mAh battery underneath.
For photography, the smartphones are equipped with a 16-megapixel camera at the back with f/1.8 aperture, and LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
For security there is a fingerprint sensor placed at the back. There is also a facial recognition feature that was first seen on the Oppo F5. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n, and USB OTG. On the software front, the smartphones run Android 7.1 Nougat OS with ColorOS 3.2 on top.
