Oppo recently dropped a couple of teasers to confirm the launch the Oppo F1s, selfie-centric smartphone early next month. The smartphone is believed to be successor to the Oppo F1, which was also aimed at selfie enthusiasts and launched earlier this year. The Oppo F1s will come with a 16-megapixel front facing camera, GSMArena reports. In comparison the predecessor Oppo F1 has an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Though there s no information on what sensors it will have or OIS like the HTC 10, but is most likely to come with several beauty modes and editing tools. According to the publication, the smartphone will come with a fingerprint scanner embedded on its home button, with a reaction time of 0.22 seconds. Right now, there aren t too many details available about the Oppo F1s. But based on what have come across so far, the smartphone is likely to follow the same design language of the F1 while front camera as mentioned earlier will get big improvements. There are chances that the rear camera gets upgraded too.
The Oppo F1 comes with features like a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. It runs Qualcomm s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
The main highlight of the smartphone is the 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera with single-LED flash, 8-megapixel selfie camera with Beautify 3.0 mode. It also has a 2,500mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
