Two new OPPO smartphones have been spotted online, dubbed OPPO F3 and F3 Plus. Of the two, the talking point of the F3 Plus is said to be dual-selfie camera up front. Both smartphones were spotted on an OPPO promotional banner in Philippines, which could mean a launch is pretty close. Based on what we can see on the banners, the F3 and F3 Plus feature a full-metal body, and the design of the back panel is quite similar to the predecessors. You can also spot the rear camera on the top left, with the LED flash placed beside it.
Coming to the specifications, rumors suggest that the OPPO F3 will feature a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There will also be 32GB of internal storage. The OPPO F3 Plus, on the other hand, is likely to come with a 6-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, and is expected to feature 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
For photography, where the F3 is expected to feature a 20-megapixel front camera, the F3 Plus is expected to come with a combination of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel snappers. Though smartphones with dual-selfie cameras is still a rarity, we have smartphones like the Lenovo Vibe S1 and the Vivo V5 Plus featuring dual-selfie cameras.
The rest of the rumored specifications include 3,075mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging technology on the F3 Plus, and both devices will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with Color OS on top.
To put these specifications and features into perspective, the OPPO F1 flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) display 2.5D curved glass and protected by Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. On the photography front, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel with single-LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for taking a selfie. The smartphone also features a 2,5000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The OPPO F1 Plus, on the other hand, comes with the same set of specifications and features. The differentiating factor however are the 5.5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display, and 4GB of RAM.
