Oppo is set to launch an online-exclusive smartphone on November 16. The company isn’t launching a new smartphone per se, but essentially a new 6GB RAM variant of the F3 Plus. The smartphone will be priced at Rs 22,990, and will be available for purchase from November 16 exclusively via Flipkart. The Oppo F3 Plus variant will come with the same 64GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The F3 Plus originally launched with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Flipkart also has a couple of launch offers for the Oppo F3 Plus. Firstly, you can avail extra Rs 3,000 off on exchanging your old device. No Cost EMIs start at Rs 1,916 per month, and HDFC Bank debit and credit card holders get additional five percent off. There’s also a guaranteed 50 percent buyback value, and three months free Hotstar Premium subscription.
The highlight of the OPPO F3 Plus is undoubtedly its dual-camera setup on the front, which is a combination of 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. The 16-megapixel camera is equipped to take high-resolution solo shots, while the 8-megapixel selfie unit is for 120-degree wide-angle selfies. The smartphone also houses a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture on the rear. It also features dual PDAF auto-focus technology, and a dual-tone LED flash. As for the rest of its specifications, the Oppo F3 Plus features a 6-inch full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Under the hood is Qualcomm s Snapdragon 653 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The smartphone is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC charging technology. On the software front, the OPPO F3 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 layered on top. The connectivity options offered include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.
