Ahead of the launch of Oppo F3 Plus on March 23, the smartphone has recently been spotted on benchmarking website GFXBench. While we have already known a handful about the device through a few previous leaks, this listing not only reveals a bunch of specifications, but also confirms that the smartphone has already gone into testing. The benchmark listing reveals that the Oppo F3 Plus will feature a large 6-inch, FullHD display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 653 chipset with four Cortex-A72 and another four Cortex-A53 cores, along with an Adreno 510 GPU, which will be pushing pixels on that panel. As for photography, which is also the highlight of the smartphone, the selfie setup on the Oppo F3 Plus will consist of a 16-megapixel unit, along with an 8-megapixel one. Although, the GFXBench did only manage to detect the former, but previous leaks almost confirm the 8-megapixel unit accompanying on the front. On the back, we find another 16-megapixel camera. Plus, powering the device will be a big 4,000 mAh battery.
Additionally, along with the Oppo F3 Plus, its smaller variant Oppo F3 is also expected to accompany the launch. From what we know so far, the OPPO F3 will be the smaller of the two models with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is expected to come powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For photography, F3 is likely to feature a 20-megapixel front camera while the F3 Plus is expected to come with a dual selfie camera with a combination of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel snappers.
In comparison, the predecessor OPPO F1 features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. On the photography front, it comes with a 13-megapixel with single-LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for taking a selfie. It is fuelled by a 2,5000mAh battery. The OPPO F1 Plus, on the other hand, comes with the same set of specifications and features. However, the display is at 5.5-inch full HD display, and the processor is paired with 4GB of RAM. Both models run Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Color OS 2.1.
