Oppo has announced that it has slashed the price of the F3 smartphone in India by Rs 2,000. After the price cut, the smartphone is now available for Rs 16,990. To recap, Oppo F3 was launched in May this year at Rs 19,990, after which its price was slashed by Rs 1,000, and now it is getting the second price cut. The Oppo F3 also topped the chart by capturing 24.2 percent of the sales amongst top sellers in September. BGR India reached out to Oppo regarding the same and the company said that the revised price will be effective starting December 29 across platforms in India. The USP of the smartphone is its dual-front camera. One is a 16-megapixel sensor for your regular selfies, whereas the other is an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle selfie camera for group photos. In terms of specifications, the Oppo F3 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) In-Cell 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T6 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of internal storage and is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and LED. Additionally, the handset features Beautify 4.0, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm Shutter. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 4G LTE with VoLTE HD voice calling support. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the smartphone is backed by a 3,200mAh non-removable battery.
