The Oppo F7 is set to launch in India on March 26, and there is very little that we don’t know about it. The company itself has teased the upcoming smartphone’s highlights on multiple occasions. Now a leak has basically revealed everything about the Oppo F7 leaving very little to the imagination.
An alleged sales pitch manual has surfaced online, courtesy of Smartprix, which gives us a look at the Oppo F7’s full set of specifications and features. Needless to say, much of what is mentioned in the manual is in line with previous leaks and teasers.
Oppo F7 specifications, features
As per the manual, the Oppo F7 will flaunt a 6.23-inch LCD display with a full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) resolution. As we have seen in the leaks, the smartphone will come with a full-screen design, which Oppo is calling Super Full Screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 89.09 percent.
Under the hood will be a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC paired with Mali-G72MP3 GPU, and 6GB of RAM. The device will be backed by a 3,400mAh battery. On the software front, it will run Android-based Color OS 5.0. It will also feature a Face Unlock feature.
For photography, selfies will again be in focus (pun unintended). The Oppo F7 will boast a 25-megapixel front-facing camera with features like bokeh mode, AI, and beautification effects. At the back will be a 16-megapixel snapper with automatic scene recognition.
As far as design is concerned, don’t be surprised if the Oppo F7 will remind you a lot of the Apple iPhone X. The front side will be dominated by the full-screen display with a notch at the top. But what’s interesting is that the Chinese company claims it was the first to come with the idea of the notch. It claims to have submitted a patent application in January 2017, and got approval for it in September. Oppo further has revealed that its patent covers different notch designs, including a semi-circle, half square, inverted triangle, semi-ellipse and half arc.
