The Oppo F7 was launched in March this year at a starting price of Rs 22,990. One of the key features of the smartphone is its 25-megapixel selfie camera that also comes with AI enhancements. The mid-range smartphone is targeted mostly towards the younger audience. Now, the device is reported to be getting a Rs 3,000 price cut, further making it more affordable for the younger generation.
The smartphone is available in two configurations. The base variant comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, while the high-end variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both phones are now priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 23,990 respectively. The smartphone comes in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver color variants, and is currently available on Amazon India and Flipkart.

The Oppo F7 features a bezel-less 6.23-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, and an aspect ratio 19:9. There is also a notch at the top which houses the front camera, earpiece, and proximity sensor. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor.
On the camera front, the Oppo F7 features a 25-megapixel selfie camera which comes with AI Beauty Technology 2.0. The company claims it can analyze 296 facial features to deliver stunning selfies. It further claims that the beautification database consists of 8 million solutions for different face types. There is single 16-megapixel camera at the back, which also comes with AI-based scene recognition capabilities and a Portrait mode.

The smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh battery, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo layered with ColorOS 5.0 UI. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. For added security the phone features Face Unlock as well as a fingerprint sensor.
