At an event in Mumbai today, Oppo is going to debut its 2018 flagship smartphone. Successor to the Oppo F5, the Oppo F7 is scheduled to be unveiled at 12:30PM today. The company is hosting a live stream for anyone who wants to join in the event. The YouTube link to the live stream has been embedded below.

The Oppo F7 is expected to get on with the iPhone X-like notch trend. Besides that, from what we know so far, the Oppo F7 will come with a 6.2-inch Super Full Screen display, which will sport a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. Moving on from the 18:9 fad, the display will have an aspect ratio of 19:9, with a near-bezeless design.

Leaks have suggested that the upcoming Oppo F7 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor, which will be accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There are also rumors of a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage variant.

The camera, of course, is expected to be one of the highlights of the device. Reportedly, it will sport a 25-megapixel camera on the front, which will come with AI beautification capability. On the rear, it will feature a 16-megapixel sensor. A facial biometric authentication is also expected.

As for pricing, it is believed that the device will be priced under Rs 26,000, despite all the iPhone X resemblance. We naturally expect the phone standing head-on against the recently released Vivo V9. More details and confirmed information about the Oppo F7 are just an hour away. Stay tuned for lives updates.
