The Oppo F7 has been launched in two variants. The model with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 21,990, while the 128GB model is priced at Rs 26,990. The new smartphone will be going on a flash sale online (via Flipkart) as well as offline on April 2. A wider sale will kick off on April 9. Buyers will be able to choose from Moonlight Silver, and Solar Red colors. There is also a special Diamond Black color edition. Oppo F7 features, specifications
The Oppo F7 boasts an all-screen design up front with an iPhone X-like notch at the top. At the back, the smartphone gets a glossy finish with camera module, and the fingerprint sensor.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo F7 flaunts a 6.23-inch Super Full Screen display with full HD+ (2280 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The F7 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. In contrast, the 128GB model features 6GB of RAM.
Cameras have almost always been among the highlights of Oppo s smartphones. The new smartphone features a 25-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX 576 sensor, and AI Beauty Technology 2.0. The company claims that the technology analyzes 296 facial feature spots to “deliver the best selfies from a smartphone”. It further claims that the beautification database consists of 8 million solutions for face types. There is also a dedicated HDR Sony chip, which is said to offer better dynamic range than software based algorithms.
At the rear, is a 16-megapixel sensor, which also includes AI capabilities. The camera gets AI-based scene recognition capabilities with support for up to 16 scenes, which include the likes of grass, indoor, sky, food, snow, fireworks, sunset and more. Despite there being a single sensor, the camera also features Portrait mode for shooting DSLR-like photos.
The smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh battery, which Oppo claims is good enough to last up to 33.5 hours of music playback, 13.4 hours of video playback, and 8.3 hours of gameplay. There is also an AI battery management feature onboard.
On the software front, the Oppo F7 runs Android 8.1 Oreo based on ColorOS 5.0 UI. The smartphone also comes with Google Assistant onboard. There are three slots two slots for SIM cards, and one slot for a microSD card. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB. For security, there’s a fingerprint sensor, as well as facial recognition capabilities.
