Oppo’s selfie-focused Oppo F7 might soon have a successor to it, likely to called the Oppo F9. The device has reportedly received Bluetooth certification last week and it seems there will also be a Pro model named as Oppo F9 Pro with some updated specifications. As spotted by the website dealntech, the alleged Bluetooth certification of the Oppo F9/F9 Pro reveals similar Bluetooth 4.2 as the Oppo F7 for the listed model number CPH 1823, CPH 1825, and CPH 1881. While there is no other information available as of now, it is assumed that Oppo F9/F9 Pro might have the same MediaTek Helio P60 SoC (MT6771) as that of Oppo F7, Oppo R15, and the Realme 1 carrying same Bluetooth module. As per the certification listing, the devices will support standard cellular connectivity like GSM/GPRS, WCDMA, and FDD-LTE. Additionally, there is an alleged Oppo F9 official teaser poster doing rounds over the web, which hints at a dual rear camera setup instead of 16-megapixel single camera unit in Oppo F7 and notes the F9 is ‘coming soon’. There is no actual report on the release time as of now, but the same website hints an August launch.
As for the design of Oppo F9/F9 Pro, we are expecting the front to carry a notch display along with similar 25-megapixel selfie camera with AI enhancements like the Oppo F7. Earlier this month, the device reportedly got a Rs 3,000 price cut, and is now trading for Rs 19,990.

The Oppo F7 comes in two configurations 4GB+64GB variant and 6GB+128GB model. This time around Oppo might call the 6GB variant as F9 Pro.
