Oppo has started teasing the F9 Pro smartphone that it will soon be launching in India. The teaser reveals the smartphone design, and it is also evident that the it will come with a redesigned notch and VOOC fast charging technology. Now, alleged specifications of the Oppo smartphone have also surfaced online.
91Mobiles has managed to obtain the specifications of the Oppo F9 Pro, which is said to feature a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display running at Full HD+ resolution (1080x2280pixels). According to Oppo’s press release, the phone will have a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Oppo is calling it “waterdrop” screen, as the notch has a shape of water droplet. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC with an octa-core CPU, paired with 6GB of RAM.
In terms of storage, the smartphone is expected to come with 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot with support for up to 256GB. In the photography department, a dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel sensors with LED flash, and a 25-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
For biometric authentication, a fingerprint sensor is expected at the back, and the device is also likely to come with the face unlock feature. Armed with a 3,400mAh battery with fast charging support, connectivity options such as dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE are expected.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo F9 Pro could set you back by Rs 29,990 as per our estimates. The smartphone could launch sometime this month, but there is no specific date at the moment.
