For a while now, the OPPO Find 9 hasn t been in news much, except for the latest speculation that the smartphone may be powered by Qualcomm s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, the Find 9 smartphone is back in news with a bunch of leaked images that suggest the smartphone with a bezel-less display. Apart from the display design, the leaked images also reveal some key specifications of the device. As per the leak, the Oppo Find 9 could come in two variants with the premium model packing Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage space. On the other hand, the lower variant would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage space.
There is another image which just reads Find OS and is being associated with the smartphone to believe that it the OPPO Find 9 may feature an upgraded version. What s new about the new Find OS is that it is believed to be based on artificial intelligence.
Interestingly, this leak dovetails another reports that came out back in July 2016, which showed the smartphone with a bezel-less design. It also revealed the back of the purported Find 9 with a dual camera setup, similar to what we see on the Huawei P9. Further down, you could see the OPPO logo, and the speaker grille. From what we know so far, the smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 1440) dual edge AMOLED display. The smartphone s chipset, which as aforementioned would be Snapdragon 835 for one variant and Snapdragon 653 for another, may be paired with Adreno 530 GPU. In line with today s report, previous rumors also suggested that the Find 9 will be available in two variants, one with 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM, and the other will be a more affordable variant.
On the camera front, the smartphone is likely to sport a 21-megapixel rear camera with SmartSensor image stabilization and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera which is similar to the Oppo F1 Plus. The phone is also expected to come with a 4,100mAh battery with support for Super VOOC Flash Charge tech.
