Xiaomi’s Mi 6 and Oppo Find 9 were two smartphones to launch with Snapdragon 835 SoC. While the Mi 6 saw the launch in March, we are still waiting for the launch of the Find 9. Having seen numerous leaked photos already, we have a basic idea of how the device is likely to look from the bits and pieces that have leaked so far. The renders spotted by Androidheadlines suggest that the upcoming Oppo Find 9 flaunts extremely thin top and bottom bezels, with almost no side bezels. Further, the rumors also suggest that the Find 9 boasts a curved display panel. However, what is interesting to note is that the render suggests that the Find 9 might come with a physical home button on its bottom bezel.
Apart from that, the Find 9 is seen to feature a sleek body and is rumored to come with two multi-colored LED strips at the top and bottom of the smartphone. Further down, you will see the Oppo logo, and the speaker grille. The new Find 9 smartphone is said to look quite similar to the Find 7. The Oppo Find 9 is expected to start selling at around $581 (Rs 39,500 approximately). Previously, the smartphone was tipped to launch in March however, that has clearly not happened.

From what heard so far, the smartphone will boast a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 1440) dual edge AMOLED display. The smartphone is expected to launch in two variants one powered by Qualcomm s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, and the other powered by Snapdragon 653 chipset. The Snapdragon 835 chipset variant will come with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the lower variant would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the smartphone is likely to sport a 21-megapixel rear camera with SmartSensor image stabilization, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera which is similar to the Oppo F1 Plus. The phone is also expected to come with a 4,100mAh battery with support for Super VOOC Flash Charge tech. The Oppo Find 9 is said to run on Android Lollipop 5.1 out-of-the-box wrapped under Color OS 3.0 skin, which is the surprising bit. In the meanwhile, Oppo has been grabbing a large market in terms of its smartphone sales. The company has entered the list of top-five global smartphone vendors kicking out popular brands like Xiaomi and Lenovo in the first quarter of 2016.
