Chinese smartphone company Oppo may be planning to launch its Oppo Find X in the Indian market. The official Twitter account of Oppo Mobile India posted a teaser stating that a “Futuristic Flagship” is coming to the market with #OPPOFindX. The accompanying image with the tweet shows an alphabet X shaped logo with the ‘FIND X’ written below it. There is not much known about the device at the time of writing, but considering the company pointed out that it is a futuristic flagship, then it is likely that this is likely to be the actual 2018 flagship from the company.
This launch comes months after the company launched its Oppo F7 in the Indian market. It is likely to compete with the recently launched Vivo X21 in India and may come with specifications such as the in-display fingerprint scanner. This is not the first time that we have seen Find X crop in the news. The company trademarked the name back in April and an image of the device leaked out on the internet earlier this month.

The leaked image of the device gave us an idea that the device may come with a notch on the display that is similar to Oppo R15 along with 19:9 aspect ratio. The highlight of the device seems to be the triple camera setup on the back of the device in a vertical setup along with the LED flash.

One interesting thing to note here is that the image said that there is no fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. This means that similar to the Vivo X21, the Oppo Find X will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The company has not issued any official statement at the time of writing about the presence of the in-display fingerprint scanner.
Earlier rumors suggested that the device is likely to come with a 5X loss-less zome and a super-fast “15 minutes flash charging” technology along with Snapdragon 845 SoC.
