Oppo is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone today. Called Find X, this device will be the successor to the Find 7 that was launched way back in 2014. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the launch event.
Oppo Find X launch live stream
Oppo will be launching its new flagship smartphone at an event in Paris, which kicks off at 8:45PM local time (12:15AM IST). For those who can’t be present at the event, the company is live streaming the launch. You can head over to a special Oppo events webpage (https://event-oppo.com/en) to follow the updates.
Oppo Find X features, specifications
One of the talking points of the Oppo Find X is expected to be its design. So far, the Vivo NEX is the only device that can be called truly bezel-less. The Find X will be fighting for that crown with a screen-to-body ratio of a whopping 93.8 percent. It comes with a sliding camera mechanism as we have already seen the smartphone in its full glory earlier today. The launch event will be more about Oppo explaining the technology and engineering that has gone behind it.
It is also expected to forgo the slim chin at the bottom that is seen on the NEX. Instead, a recent leak hinted that the bottom of the device is likely to feature a strip of blue LED light. Reports suggest this blue LED strip could pulsate when you get a notification.
Based on what we have come across so far, the Oppo Find X is also expected to set the specifications charts on fire. It is likely to feature a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.

On the software front, the Find X is expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box wrapped under Oppo’s ColorOS 5.1.
