At the Oppo Find X launch event, the company also introduced its wireless Bluetooth headset, dubbed as the Oppo O-Free. Now the company has anounced the headset in China, for RMB 699, which is approximately Rs 7,300. The headset is said to go on sale in the country in August, and is also expected to hit other markets soon.
The Oppo O-Free headset carries a light-weight design and comes with an intelligent built-in chip that syncs the earbuds automatically with the phone. Powered with a Qualcomm QCC3026 SoC the earphones come with a low power consumption mode and feature a battery life of 4 hours on a single charge. It also comes with a charging case, which Oppo claims can charge the earbuds 3 times, giving you 12 hours of additional battery life.
But perhaps, the most interesting thing about the headset is that it also supports Oppo’s voice assistant and comes with voice translation feature, similar to the Google Pixel Buds. The earbuds also have other functionality like music control, volume adjustment, and also play and pause music, among other things.
