Oppo R11 and R11 Plus have been in the news for quite sometime now. The smartphone is set to launch at an event in China on June 10. The information was confirmed via a leaked teaser recently and now, it has been re-confirmed in leaked TV commercials too. The main highlight of the smartphones remains the 20-megapixel front camera. Both the smartphones have been spotted on benchmarking websites, confirming its dual rear camera setup. First spotted by playfuldroid, the video commercial also shows off the device at all angles. In other news, live images of the smartphone were also leaked. The images give a close-up look at the upcoming smartphone. However, the live photos have been painted over with brush strokes to not reveal complete details. The live images show full-metal body and dual rear cameras setup. The dual rear cameras are placed on the top left corner of the smartphone with the LED flash on its right. The smartphones will come with a front fingerprint sensor which is embedded into the display in a capsule-shaped button at the bottom. Oppo R11 and R11 Plus specifications
The Oppo R11 is said to sport a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It can further be expanded up to 128GB via a micoSD card. The smartphone is expected to house a 2,900mAh battery. An out-of-the-box Android Nougat 7.1 operating system coupled with Oppo’s Color OS is likely on the software front.
The dual rear camera setup on the Oppo R11 is said to have a 20-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor placed at the back. The dual-rear camera is said to deliver 2x optical zoom of images captured. Other details about the camera are not known at moment. As far as selfie camera is concerned, the smartphone is likely to sport a 20-megapixel selfie camera and yet again the brand is targeting selfie-focused audience in general.
While Oppo has retained almost all these specifications for the Oppo R11 Plus, the obvious differences are in the display size with the R11 Plus coming with a 6-inch display. The other difference comes in the RAM as the R11 Plus will have 6GB RAM, as opposed to the 4GB RAM on the R11. The R11 Plus will also come with a larger 3,880mAh battery. As for the pricing of the smartphones, you will have to wait for further announcements from the company.
