Oppo is working on two new smartphones Oppo R11s and R11s Plus which are expected to launch at an event in China on November 2. Last week, the company opened registrations for the Oppo R11s in China ahead of the first sale. Now, ahead of the official launch, the smartphones have been spotted on TENAA revealing some of their important specifications and features. According to the listing on TENAA, the Oppo R11s and R11s Plus share most specifications and features. The R11s features a 6.01-inch full HD+ display, and an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. It will also come with 64GB storage, which can be further expanded to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone is armed with a 3,120mAh battery.
The Oppo R11s Plus, on the other hand, might feature a slightly bigger 6.43-inch full HD+ display. Powered by the same Snapdragon 660 SoC, the smartphone is said to come with 6GB of RAM. Both the smartphone are likely to sport dual-rear camera setup with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Up front, there might be a 20-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the smartphones might come with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. In terms of software, both the devices are said to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Oppo is hosting an event in India on the same day, where it is widely expected to launch the F5 smartphone. This device features a 6-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Apart from the display, one of the main highlights of the phone is the camera. The Oppo F5 sports a pair of 16-megapixel sensors on the front, and a 20-megapixel single camera at the back. In terms of other specifications, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone was recently launched in Philippines.
