The Oppo R11s carries a price tag of RMB 2,999 (Rs 29,300 approximately) for black and champagne color models. There is also a special red color model, which costs slightly more at RMB 3,199 (Rs 31,300 approximately). The larger R11s Plus costs RMB 3,699 (Rs 36,200 approximately). It will be available in black and champagne color choices. The Oppo R11s will go on sale in China on November 10, while the R11s Plus will be available starting November 24. It is unclear at the moment if the company will be launching these new phones in India. Oppo R11s, R11s Plus specifications, features
Both the R11s and R11s Plus feature identical design language with the display size being the differentiating factor. The smartphones boast metal unibody design with rounded corners and U-type antenna design. There is a dedicated fingerprint sensor at the back.
In terms of specifications, the smartphones are said to be the first R series smartphones with an all-screen display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Oppo R11s features a 6.01-inch full HD+ display. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For optics, the R11s packs a combination of 20-megapixel f/1.7 aperture sensor with 16-megapixel sensor at the back. There is support for LED flash as well. Up front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Beautify 5.0 AI technology, which is aimed at delivering better selfies.
It is fueled by a 3,205mAh battery with support for VOOC fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android Nougat with ColorOS v3.2 layered above. Interestingly, the Oppo R11s also features facial recognition functionality for authentication.
Talking about the Oppo R11s Plus; the display on this variant is slightly larger at 6.43-inch. It is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC but with 6GB of RAM. Keeping the device ticking is a 4,000mAh battery. Camera, OS, and connectivity specifications remain identical to the R11s.
