More details on the yet-to-be-launched Oppo R15 have emerged today. After TENAA listing and official renders revealed by the company, the smartphone’s multitasking features are now highlighted in a leaked official video. The video shows off how the smartphone leverages its notch design.
The Oppo R15 is confirmed to pack the Apple iPhone X-like notch design and the latest video highlights just that, along with the notch-based multitasking capabilities. The 9-second short video shows the phone in a horizontal position, as a game is being played. On swiping the part on the top of the notch, select apps pop out, while swiping right the bottom of the notch shows shortcuts for screen recording, screenshots, and DND mode.
The process is shown in action, even as the game continues to play in the background. The clip confirms how the growing trend of the notch design can actually be utilized for delivering more than just an edge-to-edge display. It is worth mentioning that the Google’s next version of its mobile OS, Android P, also brings native support for the notch or cut-out design, indicating the trend is here to stay.
