Oppo, as anticipated, has today launched a new R-series smartphone in China dubbed Oppo R15X. The smartphone was recently spotted on TENAA revealing all the details including the two-tone gradient design.
The Oppo R15X is up for sale on company’s official store in China at RMB 2,499 (approximately Rs 25,000). The handset comes in one variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage option. It is listed in two color options of Nebula gradient and Ice extraction.
Oppo R15X specifications and features
The highlight of the new Oppo R15X is its in-display fingerprint sensor, which is same as the recently launched Oppo K1. Even the gradient design and specifications of Oppo R15X are quite similar to Oppo K1.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo R15X features waterdrop notch-style 6.4-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is no clarity on the SoC, but going by the processor on the Oppo K1, it is possible that Oppo has used the slightly high-end Snapdragon 710 on the R15X. As for the built-in storage, it comes with 128GB of storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The handset is backed by 6GB RAM, similar to recently launched Oppo K1.
