Oppo might be launching a new R series smartphone in China soon. Recently, there was a listing on TENAA suggesting three new Oppo smartphone models – OPPO PBCT10, OPPO PBCM30, and OPPO PBCM10. Now the OPPO PBCM10 has been spotted on GeeKbench for the first time (via MySmartPrice), and it is anticipated to get marketed as the Oppo R15X.

According to the listing, Oppo R15X is believed to be a toned-down version of Oppo R17. The smartphone is seen to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6GB of RAM. Recent TENAA listing had also tipped a 4GB RAM variant, and it noted 1.95GHz octa-core chipset without revealing SoC details.

The Geekbench CPU test scores single core at 1439 points while multi-core clocked 5516. There is no other information included in the listing except that the OPPO PBCM10 (anticipated Oppo R15X) will offer Android 8.1 Oreo OS out-of-the-box.

Previously, TENAA images showcased the design of alleged Oppo R15X in full glory. The alleged Oppo handset handset was seen sporting a similar gradient colour design like the F9/F9 Pro. The color options listed on TENAA included Blue, Red, and Silver.

Further specifications were listed also on TENAA. As per listing, the OPPO PBCM10 suggested same display as the Oppo F9 Pro. The smartphone will also feature waterdrop notch design on a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels but with an in-display fingerprint reader like the Oppo R17.
