As far as the specifications are concerned, the Oppo R5 flaunts a 5.2 -inch full HD AMOLED display, and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like LTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Just like the flagship device, the battery on the R5 too supports VOOC rapid charging technology. On the software front, it runs on Color OS 2.0, which is based on Android KitKat.
As for the design, Oppo has included a metallic casing with ceramic finishing. With such thinness, phones tend to heat up, and to avoid that Oppo has included a Cool Element tech which uses liquid metal-like material to cool down the phone. The company is also promising the best brightness, lowest reflectivity and highly accurate colors.
