Earlier in the month, Oppo launched its first smartphone under its new sub-brand called the Oppo Realme 1. The phone comes with mid-range features and falls under the budget segment with a starting price of Rs 8,999. Oppo Realme 1 specifications and features
Oppo Realme 1 comes with 6-inch IPS LCD display with a full HD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. However, the highlight of the phone is the design. It features a metal unibody build, with a stylish diamond back finish. Oppo claims to have designed the phone with the younger generation in mind.
Underneath the stylish design, the phone features a Helio P60 chipset that is coupled with a Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor. There are two configurations available for RAM and storage. The base variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the high-end variant comes with 6GB of RAM and the 128GB of storage. The phones are priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 13,990 respectively.

In the camera department, the phone features a 13-megapixel camera at the back, which comes with an aperture of the f/2.2 and can shot full HD videos. The front camera features an 8-megapixel sensor that comes equipped with f/2.2 aperture and Oppo s AI algorithm. It also supports Face Unlock, as the fingerprint sensor has been omitted. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on the ColorOS 5.0 and is powered by a 3,410 mAh battery underneath the hood.
